Rot? Rod? Wrought ! These are some wrought and steel artifacts I keep in my Blacksmithing classroom at NAIT in Edmonton Alberta Canada to show how steel is forged welded to wrought iron . The anvil heal is from a 122 lbs Norris EZ anvi. Norris EZ we’re wrought iron and steel produced as a second line from Peter wright ( from a booklet republished by @anvils.online on Norris EZ) The spalling hammer has some of the coarsest wrought I’ve seen with cleft welds of tool steel for the working surface .
