University of Wisconsin hockey player Laila Edwards is about to make history in the Olympics, and Travis Kelce is helping make the trip easier.

USA Hockey forward Laila Edwards revealed in an interview with Skyler Caruso of People Magazine that Kansas City Chiefs tight end Travis Kelce, a fellow Cleveland Heights, Ohio native, has donated to her family's GoFundMe fundraiser so they can support her at the Winter Olympics in Italy in February.

She is an imposing defender with a rare combination of having a hard shot, speed and deft play-making ability.

Edwards, the first Black player to make the U.S. women’s Olympics hockey team, is from the same Ohio town as Jason and Travis Kelce.
