SpaceX Crew-12 launch unleashes bold new wave of ISS explorers
NASA’s SpaceX Crew-12 mission carried four astronauts to the International Space Station this week, completing a launch-to-docking sequence in just over 34 hours and marking a booster landing at the same Florida launch complex where it lifted off.
The Federal Aviation Administration has green-lit three new flight paths for the mega-rockets that allow them to overfly Florida, Texas, Mexico, the Cayman Islands and Jamaica.
The four Crew-12 astronauts brought the International Space Station’s staff back to seven after a month of operating with three people on board.
More than a week has gone by since SpaceX helped restore a full crew of astronauts at the International Space Station.
